Colon Hydrotherapy

Colon hydrotherapy treatments are provided by Carla Roter, the leader in colon hydrotherapy health, education and research in Canada for over 25 years. Trained nurses will also be providing this service in the future.  Please note that treatments are now provided at The North Toronto Naturopathic Clinic located at 1940 Avenue Road.

Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours.
Note:  First visits may require more time to do a full client history.

Your visit Includes: 

• In-depth intake/assessment
• Colon Hydrotherapy Treatment at a rate appropriate for the condition of client’s colon & overall health
  
• Nutritional guidance specific to client’s condition and concerns 
• Homemade Probiotics to replenish good bacteria in the intestinal tract
• Optional complementary addition of: infrared sauna, light exercise, foot/abdominal massage, shower.

In the future, only nurses trained by Carla to very high standards will be offering the service as well.	The average colon therapist in Canada has been provided with training from the manufacturer of the colonics machine in the form of a weekend course. No medical training is given!!
Ability to identify and deal with serious medical issues.	Carla's extensive clinical experience with every type of colon condition, as well as her commitment to safety, ensures that clients receive the best possible care and treatment, individualized to them.	General lack of clinical training and experience, resulting in a "one size fits all" approach. May lack ability to discern when performing the procedure is dangerous or when a client may be physically unfit to receive treatment.
Additional Benefits	Carla has pioneered the use of an isotonic (electrolyte-balances) water solution that, when used during the entire colonic procedure, vastly improves effectiveness and client comfort.
